Our visit to the nation's Capital coincided with Veteran's Day
celebrations. After studying this country's beginnings it was important to realize the
sacrifices that have been made for freedom. We listened to Clinton's speech at Arlington
Cemetery, visited the Vietnam and Korean memorials and the Holocaust Museum during our
stay.
We also visited most of the Smithsonian Museums, the National Geographic, the monuments,
the White House (we saw President Clinton), Congress, and more... |
